We offer a comprehensive support service, knowledgeable in all aspects of clinical systems or electronic patient records, used in a number of NHS healthcare settings. This extends to configuration and setup, training, floor walking support and business as usual support to end users and new user training. Our current stakeholders also value an out of hours on call service, operational for high level events. Our staff are knowledgeable in the full breadth of these systems and would usually be trained in the products through vendor supplied Train the Trainer programmes.
Usually, we will be involved in the Project or Change Management when introducing these clinical systems, which enables us to have a really good understanding of the way that services operate. Having that close working relationship enables us to steer our stakeholders to functionality which may benefit the service to more efficient processes or a different way of working. Having operated in this way for 20+ years, as well as having exposure to a diverse range of settings, enables us to draw from that experience and exposure and share good practice and suggest improvements.
We have exposure to:
- Primary Care/PCNs, Mental Healthcare, Community Based Healthcare, Inpatient Settings plus a range of niche settings like Prisons and Palliative Care.
Systems we either currently support or have supported in the last 5 years:
- System One (GP, Community, MH, Prisons, Minor Injuries, Out of Hours, Palliative Care), EMIS (GP), Clinysis ICE discharge module, RiO, Tiara.
We have also worked with TPP to streamline and rollout the AutoPlanner functionality.
All our clinical systems support staff are also TPMA assessed trainers, so as well as providing support to end users, they also provide training under business as usual to our key stakeholders. The staff work very closely with Project and Change Managers to ensure that there is shared communication and handovers to ensure new changes are understood and incorporated into the support function.
